The Pacific Palisades Community Council submitted a letter to the City of Los Angeles Zoning Administrator and Office of Environmental Planning requesting a Focused Environmental Impact Report for a proposed multi-family residential development at 16990-17009 W. Sunset Boulevard, citing concerns raised by independent geologists regarding hydrology, groundwater flow calculations, and the adequacy of mitigation measures in the 2013 Mitigated Negative Declaration. The Council requested the EIR expand to include assessments of geology, soils, hydrology, haul routes, traffic, storm drain/sewer access, and Torrey Pines, as well as review of Coastal Commission compliance.
