The honorees include Co-Citizens of the Year Jimmy Dunne and Bob Harter for their leadership on the Veterans' Gardens project, Golden Sparkplug Award recipients John Steadman and Dede Vlietstra for community maintenance and homeless encampment management respectively, and Pride of the Palisades honoree Arnie Wishnick for his four decades of service to the community.

    Pacific Palisades Community Council announced its annual Holiday Dinner and Awards Gala scheduled for December 13, 2018, honoring five community volunteers: Jimmy Dunne and Bob Harter as Co-Citizens of the Year, John Steadman and Dede Vlietstra as Golden Sparkplugs, and Arnie Wishnick as Pride of the Palisades.
