    The Palisades Forestry Committee, formed by the Pacific Palisades Community Council in Spring 2019, is conducting a test case on the 900 block of Hartzell Street to recommend street tree species for planting in parkway vacancies, and is seeking community feedback before making final recommendations to the LA City Urban Forestry Division. The committee has created a database of tree species, identified potential planting locations marked with white dots, and will not require financial support from homeowners but will ask for a commitment to water newly planted trees.
