The Pacific Palisades Community Council approved a motion recommending the City approve a parcel map to vacate public land for an alley and Sunset Boulevard lane, contingent on the applicant's commitment to fund off-site streetscape improvements in coordination with community organizations. The PPCC Executive Committee took emergency action to submit comments supporting the City's adoption of the Palisades Village Project MND, citing broad community support evidenced by positive comments from Board members and the public, with most negative comments addressing issues outside the MND's scope or already addressed by the applicant. The Committee determined that approximately 86% of eligible Board members supported the motion and that the MND's conclusions were warranted under applicable regulatory frameworks.
