  LADOT proposes to remove a crosswalk at the Chautauqua and Corona del Mar/Vance intersection following a safety complaint, with a public comment deadline of April 3.   The Santa Monica Canyon Civic Association provides an update on aircraft noise issues from FAA NextGen flight paths, including a formal request to push flight paths further over the ocean, the City of Los Angeles' lawsuit against the FAA, and recent directives from the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives requiring the FAA to improve flight procedures, conduct noise studies, and increase public data availability.
