• April 6th in-person Community Safety Town Hall

  The Pacific Palisades Community Council is hosting a Community Safety Town Hall on April 6th from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the American Legion Post 282 to discuss public safety concerns and develop community action plans. The meeting will be recorded and available on the PPCC YouTube channel, with in-person and Zoom attendance options.

  The Pacific Palisades Community Council held a meeting on August 24 covering fire hazard insurance regulations, brush clearance responsibilities in high fire hazard zones, power pole inspections by LADWP, crime updates, and concerns about Temescal Canyon Road safety and water damage. The council also addressed emergency preparedness following a major traffic incident on PCH and advocated for road repairs and improved evacuation infrastructure.

  The Pacific Palisades Community Council held meetings on January 12 and 26, 2023, where they passed motions regarding George Wolfberg Park maintenance, public safety issues, scenic highway protection, and film set smoking restrictions, while also forming a Potrero Park Oversight Committee and meeting with new field staff from elected representatives. The council also received presentations from LADWP and LA Sanitation, and held a December 8, 2022 holiday gala recognizing community volunteers.
