  Multiple Westside neighborhood councils, including Pacific Palisades Community Council, passed a motion supporting the Housing Unhoused Disabled Veterans Act (HR 8340) and urging city councilmembers to add it to the city's federal legislative priorities for 2024-2025. The motion was formally adopted by the Westside Regional Alliance of Councils in October 2024.

  The Pacific Palisades Community Council meeting scheduled for March 7th has been moved to 5PM to allow attendees to watch the State of the Union address at 6PM, with project managers from Jacobs Engineering and the City's Bureau of Engineering presenting on the Potrero Canyon Bridge Project. A separate community meeting on March 14th will provide further discussion of the bridge project, and the outreach contractor outlined a three-round public engagement strategy including surveys, notifications in English and Spanish, and multiple communication channels.
