Pacific Palisades Community Council announced its 2019 Awards Celebration and Holiday Meeting scheduled for December 12, 2019, honoring five community volunteers: Kevin Niles (Citizen of the Year), Don Camacho, Lisa Glantz, and Mike Lanning (Golden Sparkplugs), and George Wolfberg (Pride of the Palisades). The event will include a catered buffet dinner and complimentary beverages at the Pacific Palisades Woman's Club Clubhouse, with tickets priced at $60 per person.

Congressman Ted W. Lieu issued a statement urging President Trump to support congressional efforts to address homelessness, specifically recommending the Fighting Homelessness Through Services and Housing Act and the Ending Homelessness Act of 2019. Lieu stated he would work with the President on this issue if serious efforts were made to break the cycle of homelessness.

Congressman Ted W. Lieu announced the relocation of his Los Angeles district office to 1645 Corinth Ave., Suite 101, which is co-located with offices of Councilmember Mike Bonin and Supervisor Sheila Kuehl. The new office offers free parking, proximity to public transportation and the West Los Angeles VA campus, while the Manhattan Beach and DC offices remain unchanged.
