  The Pacific Palisades Community Council announced its 2025 awards honorees, recognizing community members for their service and leadership, particularly in response to the Palisades Fire.   The Pacific Palisades Community Council announced four 2024 award honorees to be recognized at the December 12, 2024 Holiday Dinner and Awards Celebration: Cindi Young as Citizen of the Year for her volunteer work with the homelessness task force, Leslie Campbell and Carlos Rodriguez as Golden Sparkplug recipients for their respective efforts in securing a dog park and clearing encampments, and Thomas Hathaway as Pride of the Palisades honoree for his 13 years organizing the Will Rogers 4th of July Run.

  The Pacific Palisades Community Council recognized six 2023 honorees at a Holiday Dinner and Awards Celebration, including Citizen of the Year Cindy Kirven for her work with the Village Green and Forestry Committee, four Golden Sparkplug recipients (Laura Schneider, John Dwight, Sara Marti, and Steve Cron) for various community contributions, and Palisades P.R.I.D.E. organization for its beautification and environmental protection efforts.

Lanning for his 70 years of service as Scoutmaster, Golden Sparkplug Awards for community safety, trail enhancement, and food security initiatives, and the Pride of the Palisades Award for the Historical Society's centennial celebration committee.
