Summary
The PPCC Grants Committee recommends a grant of $11,833 to Friends of Marquez for the purchase of a 30' x 60' pole tent to support student and community events at Marquez Elementary Charter School, which lost its auditorium in a fire and will not have replacement facilities from LAUSD. The tent will enable the school to continue hosting larger gatherings and traditions that were held before the fire when students return to classrooms on September 30, 2025.
