George Wolfberg Park at Potrero Canyon -- Updates

Simce the opening of George Wolfberg Park at Potrero Canyon (the Park) in December 2022, PPCC has periodically posted updates on this page to keep the community informed of the Park's progress. Ongoing matters that we have monitored include:

Note: the Park was closed as of January 7, 2025, due to the catastrophic Palisades Fire. The Park reopened (entrance at Frontera Gate) in the spring of 2025; the Friends St. entrance gate remains closed indefinitely as of November 2025. Summary

The Pacific Palisades Community Council has monitored George Wolfberg Park at Potrero Canyon since its opening in December 2022, tracking issues including gates, operating hours, landscaping, drainage, staffing, signage, and coastal access. The park closed due to the Palisades Fire in January 2025 and reopened at the Frontera Gate entrance in spring 2025, with the Friends Street entrance remaining closed as of November 2025.
