What's on the Agenda?
-- We will say farewell
to the
outgoing Area and Organizational representatives
who are leaving their positions as the current term ends (9/30/24).
-- The President will announce information about the annual
PPCC Awards
nominations
process and the December Awards gala!
-- The Board will consider three motions recommended by the Westside Regional Alliance of Councils (WRAC; a coalition of all 14 neighborhood and community councils, including PPCC, on the Westside of Los Angeles): one involving
homeless disabled veterans
housing, and two others related to
homelessness
(see background information for all motions linked in the agenda).
--  As always, we'll have additional updates & announcements.

PPCC will hold a special Board meeting via Zoom on
Tuesday, October 1st,
at
5:30pm,
with Councilwoman Traci Park as our guest speaker. The Councilwoman will present the community with important information about the status of the
Tramonto slide and the related residential development project
. . . This will be the only topic on the agenda (to be distributed soon).

at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles -- hosted by LA County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath and other elected officials, including CW Traci Park.  Over 20 LA County and City agencies and groups will provide vital emergency preparedness information. Palisades Lutheran Church Octoberfest 5K Run, Saturday, October 19,
8am-11am
in the El Medio Bluffs.
Note the correct race time in red!
