The above photos depict conditions in our commercial village
(on Monument & Swarthmore) last night and this morning.
PPCC has received word from Lisa Cahill, CD11
Palisades-Brentwood Deputy, that the
National Guard
will again be stationed in the Palisades business district
and also in Westwood tonight.
LAPD has set up a command
post at Jackie Robinson stadium.  Councilmember Bonin will be
there today and will be working with the Mayor and LAPD to
determine any additional National Guard deployments.
We've now learned that the
Los Angeles City & County curfew
will be extended tonight, from
6pm-6am
.  See
Yahoo news announcement
.
If you haven't already done so, you may wish to sign up for official  emergency notices (including curfew alerts) from the City at
NotifyLA
.
LAPD Deployments/Protests
Credit:  Officer Redican
The above photo depicts the officers on
Fairfax Blvd. near Canter's Deli on Saturday.
Our beach patrol Officers
Rusty Redican and Jimmy Soliman
were deployed on Saturday evening in Fairfax and on Sunday
evening in WLA (where local TV news caught up with them as they rapidly and professionally apprehended a looter near 26th & Wilshire). They're also doing double duty by
continuing to attend to their work every morning at our beach areas and bluffs.
We thank Officers Redican & Soliman and all of our local law enforcement officials for their dedication to protecting the community.
Note:
We've also learned that demonstrations are planned this afternoon
at several Westside venues, including
Wilshire & Veteran
(2pm) and
Wilshire & Barrington
(4pm). If traveling outside the Palisades please
avoid these areas.  Note also that the City of Santa Monica is under
curfew today as of 1pm (business districts) and at 4pm (
citywide).

Note:  Most Palisades events through June are either cancelled, postponed or
will be held via virtual conference; later cancellations may be required
depending on conditions.  Please check with event sponsors for status.
