depicting a Phoenix rising, sponsored by the California Community Foundation, with other community leaders & survivors in areas devastated by the 2025 Eaton & Palisades Fires . . . Our own
Citizen of the Year Jim Cragg
will also walk alongside the float!
We hope
Sue and Jim can
stay dry and enjoy the special day!
Watch them both in the Parade on TV starting at 8am on January 1, 2025!

Proposed ACE Building Materials
Supply Yard and Virtual Hearing

ACE Building Materials
(a family-owned business based in Van Nuys, not the same as ACE Hardware) is applying under a relatively new Municipal Code section for a "long term temporary use permit," to use the now-vacant former Shell Station lot in the Village for a temporary
building materials supply yard and point-of-sale center
(for storage and distribution during the rebuild of lumber, concrete, rebar and like heavy building materials). For informational slides about the project provided to PPCC by ACE, see

anniversary of the Fire

January 7, 2026,
