New Signs in Our Parklands
A message from CD 11 - Councilwoman Traci Park:
New Signs Address Camping In Palisades Parks
"The Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness recently noticed an uptick of camping in city-owned parklands in the very high fire severity zone. As we head into fire season, we are taking extra precautions with LAPD and Rec & Parks to install new signage and keep our dry hillsides and canyons clear."
PPCC thanks the Councilwoman and all involved with installing much-needed new "restricted entry" signs to prevent camping and to protect our community.
A reminder:
ALL of Pacific Palisades is located within the designated "Very High Fire Hazard Severity" (VHFHZ) zone
-- our dry parkland areas are especially vulnerable!
