Pacific Palisades Community Council
Six Months . . .
Six months ago
, reeling from the unimaginable horror,
we wrote: "There are no words to express our sorrow
at the devastation of our beautiful community."
Six months late
r, there are many optimistic words,
as Pacific Palisades literally rises from the ashes:
Hope
Strength
Courage
Positivity
Resilience
Determination
Generosity
Friendship
Kindness
Love
We see these words in the outpouring of donations to help those in need; in the many groups that have formed to bring us together and to forge a path forward; in the signs of rebuilding and recovery, with restaurants and businesses bravely reopening, residents returning, permits being granted, building restoration and even framing of new homes occurring; and last but not least, in the joy and hopefulness manifested by the
thousands of Palisadians
who participated in the July 4th festivities, including the wonderful celebration at Paul Revere . . . We send a huge thank you to PAPA for once again bringing us the "Best Day of the Year in the Palisades!"

to present information and answer our questions
about SB 549 -- his bill to establish a County
"authority" for the Palisades.
