Day Camp Program
The Department of Recreation and Parks is launching a free day camp program to support
families affected by the recent Palisades fire. These camps aim to provide a safe and
enriching environment for children and teens during this challenging time. We would
greatly appreciate your assistance in promoting this program to ensure that families in
need are informed and can take advantage of these services.
Camp Details
• Locations:
o Mar Vista Recreation Center (CD 11)

• Dates: Monday, January 13th – Friday, January 31st (3 weeks)
• Days: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
o Ages 5-12
o Ages 13-17 (Teen Camp)
• Activities: Arts and crafts, games, sports, and weekly field trips on Thursdays
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided daily.
• Registration: Free of charge at LAparks.org.
