Re: Proposed Bookstore Within the Palisades Branch Library
Dear Councilmember Bonin:
As you know, Pacific Palisades Community Council (PPCC) is the most broad-based community
organization and has been the voice of the Palisades since 1973. At its regularly scheduled public
board meeting on March 9, 2017, following presentations and discussion, the PPCC board
unanimously passed the following motion in support of the bookstore:
“PPCC supports the creation of a new bookstore within the Palisades Library. We find the proposed
bookstore to be a positive addition to the Palisades and understand that the proceeds from sales will
continue to support library programs and supplement the purchase of books and materials for the
Palisades Branch Library.”
