Dear Pacific Palisades Community Council Members,
Thank you for your partnership and community leadership, especially over the course of the past year.
We are excited to welcome so many of our families back to school on August 16th! Here are some
helpful resources and information to support a smooth transition for all our school communities.
What to know about the upcoming return to school:
• Full-time, in-person instruction for students in every grade level
• Online independent study option available for students with medical, socio-emotional, or
other concerns
• Every student and employee will need to take a baseline COVID test before the first day of
school. After school starts, weekly testing will be provided free of charge on campus during
the school day.
• Employees are required to be vaccinated and/or participate in weekly testing.
• Additional safety protocols follow the public health guidelines set forth by the State and
County, including mask-wearing, health screening, frequent disinfecting and hygiene
practices, physical distancing to the extent possible, upgraded air filtration systems, and
vaccination opportunities for all eligible school community members, including students age
12 and up with parental consent.
