What's on the Agenda?
Here are highlights of our agenda on January 8th:
-- We'll hear remarks from our
special guest, Councilwoman Traci Park.
-- We'll also tentatively have a presentation by representatives of
Habitat for Humanity.
-- We''ll have
updates and reports
on numerous events that took place in
December
and January, including the events commemorating the one-year anniversary of the Palisades Fire, the results of the hearing on January 5th for the proposed ACE Building Materials yard permit, and the status of the report on the PPCC-NORC Survey results.
-- As always, we'll have additional
announcements and reports
from the Board, from Committees, and from government officials and representatives.
-- Finally, we'll say farewell to longtime Area Two Representative
Steve Cron,
who is leaving the area and has resigned. We thank Steve for his years of service to PPCC and the community! Carole White is now the Primary Area Two Rep and Diana Daniele is now the 1st Alternate. Look for a notice coming soon about the now-open Area Two 2nd Alternate seat!

Palisades Fire Observance Ceremony

American Legion Post 283 & the Village Green

A solemn ceremony will take place on the one-year
anniversary of the Fire
on Wednesday,
January 7, 2026,
sponsored by the American Legion & the Pali LTRG. The ceremony will honor the twelve individuals who lost their lives in the Fire and pay tribute to all who are helping the community recover and rebuild. For details of the day's events, click on the graphic above or visit

Canyon Square Concert

Canyon Square is hosting this
concert of Tim Hahn and his band
on the one year anniversary of the Fire. Tim is a native to the area who has written a song about the fire which will be launched at the concert. He and his brother saved the Canyon by fighting fires during the evacuation period. "Don't miss this powerful show and an amazing night at the Square!"

"The City of Los Angeles now has Inspections and Permitting Support at the Unified Utilities Rebuild Operations Center (UUROC)until the permanent location is completed in early February. The following departments are present:
