Pacific Palisades Community Council
PPCC 1/22/26 Meeting Recap
Here's a brief recap our January 22nd  meeting:
Guest Speaker:
We were honored to hear from
LAFD Chief Jaime Moore
at this
well-attended PPCC Board meeting.  The Chief spoke about his history and experiences with the Department, and stressed that one of his goals is to rebuild trust in the LAFD and strengthen community relationships. He introduced the new LAFD "Ambassador" to the Palisades, Dwayne Laurent, who will be present to answer residents' questions at the new one-stop center adjacent to Marquez Elementary when the center is opened. Chief Moore answered numerous probing questions from Board and community members. We thank the Chief for speaking with us and for his willingness to share information and answer our questions.
