  The Pacific Palisades Community Council urges the City of Los Angeles to require increased replacement street trees and improved maintenance practices at 15539 W. Via De Las Olas, where four of six remediation trees planted in February 2020 died following unauthorized removal of healthy parkway trees. The Council requests the owner plant up to 10 replacement trees, implement proper arboriculture standards, extend the bond survival period to reflect October 2020 replanting, and ensure acceptable bond issuance before Certificate of Occupancy.

  The PPCC Executive Committee passed a resolution on March 30, 2020 suspending and extending officer and Area & At-Large Representatives elections, and extending the terms of current officers, due to the coronavirus pandemic making in-person Board meetings impossible. The resolution authorized the current Executive Committee to remain in place and continue operations until elections could be held.
