Fire Safe Palisades and local HOAs are hosting a Home Hardening Community Workshop on Sunday, April 12th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Calvary Church Gym, 701 Palisades Dr., Pacific Palisades, CA 90272, where residents can meet local officials, fire agencies, and community groups. A vendor expo from 2:00 to 3:30 pm covers fire-resistant vents and windows, gutter guards and ember protection, non-combustible fencing, and sprinkler systems, followed by expert talks from 3:30 to 5:00 pm on home ignition zone inspections, insurance guidance, and a fire-smart landscaping panel, with details at www.FireSafePalisades.org.

GEM USA West, Rotary District 5280, and Pali LTRG host the GEM Recovery Resource Fair and Pali Hub Grand Opening for fire survivors on Saturday, April 11 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at 15239 La Cruz Drive, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272. The day features local resource and service providers, health and wellness workshops including CPR, acupuncture, and medical support, a kids zone with music and distribution, in-person support from Disaster Case Managers, and complimentary food and refreshments, with the Pali Hub ribbon cutting at noon.
